Pope Scientific in Saukville held the groundbreaking for its 19,722 square foot addition to its existing manufacturing facility on Friday, September 27th. This addition will be an extension of the manufacturing portion of the business. It will also house offices and a conference space.
The addition will be concrete block and steel frame construction that will be located on the West side of the existing building. This project will add 27 extra parking spaces to the site. A new drainage pond and swale will be constructed for stormwater management and erosion control. Parking lot lights will be added along with building lights at each new entry way. A variety of shrubs and trees will be added to the landscape around the drainage pond and East end of the site. Pope Scientific has been at the forefront of manufacturing chemical processing equipment, engineered systems and laboratory apparatus for science and industry. Today, Pope is internationally known – with specialized technical expertise in design and manufacturing of distillation processing equipment, as well as toll processing services.
