On Saturday, May 4, 2024 VJS Construction Services (VJS) held the fourth annual VJS Construction Services Community Foundation 5K Run and Walk. Proceeds from the event benefitted local non-profit organizations Journey21, Neighborhood House, and The Waukesha Christmas Parade Memorial.
Open to the entire community, this family and dog-friendly event included nearly 300 runners and walkers, and 32 corporate sponsors.
“The overwhelming success of this event, with growing numbers of sponsors and participants each year, truly humbles us. Thanks to this incredible support, we're thrilled to announce that we can expand our reach to benefit three local organizations this year, instead of two beneficiaries as in years past. For 76 years, we've been a proud member of this community, and giving back through initiatives like this allows us to continue making a positive difference alongside these remarkable organizations,” stated Craig Jorgensen, President & CEO.
