At the AGC of Greater Milwaukee Past Presidents' & Awards Night, VJS Construction Services was honored to see both team members and the company recognized for their commitment to excellence, service, and safety.

Dave Lamb Named Superintendent of the Year

Dave Lamb, Superintendent, received the prestigious Superintendent of the Year Award. Dave is celebrating 36 years with VJS this year, having started as a carpenter apprentice in 1989 before advancing to Superintendent through hard work, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to clients.

While his project experience is extensive, what truly sets him apart is the way he connects with people. Clients frequently request Dave by name because of his collaborative approach, attention to detail, and genuine investment in their mission.

Chris Sauvé Receives Community Service Honor

Chris Sauvé, Partner/Vice President, was honored with the Kevin O'Toole Special Community Service Award for his outstanding commitment to giving back. Throughout his career, Chris has championed initiatives that strengthen communities, support local organizations, and create opportunities for future generations.

This award highlights the importance of leadership that extends beyond construction and into meaningful community impact.

Jason Schneider Earns S.I.R. Award

Jason Schneider, Partner/Executive Vice President of Construction, received the S.I.R. Award in recognition of his more than 20 years of dedicated service and leadership within AGC, where he advanced from the Young Constructors Forum (now CLC) to influential roles at both the local and national levels.

His commitment, industry expertise, and leadership—including most recently 2025 AGC of Greater Milwaukee President—have made a lasting impact on the association and the construction industry.

Safety Remains a Core Value

In addition to the individual honors, VJS Construction Services received the President's Safety Excellence Award, accepted by Nik Pipitone, Safety Director.

This recognition reflects the company's ongoing focus on creating safe jobsites, protecting team members, and maintaining a culture where everyone looks out for one another.
