VJS Construction Services Community Foundation Hosts 6th Annual 5K Run & Walk

VJS Construction Services (VJS) hosted the sixth annual VJS Construction Services Community Foundation 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, May 2. The event brought together nearly 300 runners and walkers, along with 30 corporate sponsors, in support of four local nonprofit organizations: S.E.R.V.E., Project Concern, Kinship Community Food Center, and The Food Pantry Serving Waukesha County.
These organizations play a vital role in the community by providing food access, family support, and essential services to individuals and families in need. Through the collective efforts of participants, sponsors, and volunteers, this year’s event generated meaningful support for their work and helped expand access to critical resources across the community.
Open to the entire community, the family- and dog-friendly event has raised more than $170,000 since its inception to benefit local nonprofits.
