Awards are meaningful, but for our team, the real reward is seeing how a project serves people long after construction wraps. That is why it is especially exciting to share that four VJS Construction Services projects have been named Top Project 2025 winners by The Daily Reporter.
These recognitions highlight work that goes beyond strong design and construction. Each project reflects collaboration, problem-solving, and a shared goal to create spaces that truly support their communities.

Evoni Apartments
Evoni brings thoughtful, modern housing to the Third Ward. The project supports neighborhood growth while offering residents a high-quality place to call home. From early planning through final delivery, the focus stayed on creating lasting value for both residents and the surrounding community.

Urban Ecology Center – Washington Park Renovation & Expansion
This project enhances access to nature and environmental education in the heart of Milwaukee. The renovated and expanded space creates more opportunities for community engagement, outdoor learning, and sustainability-focused programming.

Racine Unified School District – Schulte School
Schulte School was designed to support students with diverse learning needs in a safe, adaptable environment. The space reflects a commitment to accessibility, flexibility, and student well-being. It is a place where thoughtful construction directly supports education.

Racine Unified School District – Jerstad/Agerholm School
This project brought together two school communities into one cohesive, modern facility. The result is a collaborative learning environment that fosters connection among students, staff, and families. It stands as a strong example of how construction can help unify and strengthen a community.
While each project serves a different purpose, they share a common thread. Success came from strong partnerships between owners, designers, trade partners, and the VJS team. Open communication and shared goals helped turn complex challenges into meaningful outcomes.
