Allie Jorgensen, Project Manager, Recognized for Leadership in Construction and Community Service

At VJS, our motto is simple: Building with Purpose. Few people reflect that commitment as clearly as Project Manager Allie Jorgensen.

This week, Allie has been named a Project Manager of the Year honoree in The Daily Reporter’s 2026 Women in Construction Awards. She has also been selected as a finalist for the Next Generation Leadership Award as part of the 2026 BizTimes Nonprofit Excellence Awards.

Together, these honors recognize the impact Allie continues to make through her work, volunteer service, and leadership across southeastern Wisconsin.

Leading Projects That Strengthen Communities

• Evoni Apartments, which transformed an underused site in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward into a new residential destination, receiving recognition from the Milwaukee Business Journal, The Daily Reporter, and the City of Milwaukee Mayor’s Design Awards.

• Boys & Girls Club - Mary Ryan Sherman Park, a "re-imagine" project focused on bringing new energy, resources, and gathering spaces to the neighborhood.

•  Kinship Community Food Center, the future community hub, will use food as a starting point for connecting Milwaukee residents with employment, wellness services, counseling, and other resources.

Turning Community Involvement Into Action

Allie’s dedication to community service extends well beyond her project work. Ian Abston, Director of the Hoan Group and Founder of Forward 48 states,

“What stands out most is how Allie balances strategy with action. Boardroom to job site to volunteer shift, she’s consistent. Clear. And focused on outcomes.”

She serves as Chair of the Wishmakers of Wisconsin Leadership Team for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, helping build awareness and support for children with critical illnesses. Allie also leads fundraising efforts for the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts and supports the Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County. Her volunteer work includes organizations such as Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and Urban Ecology Center, amongst many others.

Creating Opportunities for Future Leaders

Through leadership roles with the AGC of Greater Milwaukee Construction Leadership Council, Forward48, and the YPO Next Generation Wisconsin Chapter, she helps emerging professionals build relationships, develop leadership skills, and become more involved in their communities.
