PROJECT SCOPE

Following the success of Phase 1, this expansion adds capacity for 900+ students, making St. Augustine Preparatory Academy the largest single-campus school in the city. The project includes 37 new classrooms, specialty spaces for band, orchestra, dance, drama, and a 700+ seat auditorium, plus a library/media room with breakout study spaces. Additional features include two gymnasiums, a third-floor open-air playground, expanded common areas, administrative offices, and staff facilities, enhancing the school’s ability to support its growing student body.

EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS

VJS Development Group worked in collaboration with VJS Construction Services to acquire additional land for a second school. VJS Development Group put together a strategy to acquire additional land adjacent to the school completed in Phase 1. Over three years, VJS Development Group worked with the surrounding community to obtain and assemble an entire city block, including 33 properties over 2.31 acres (City-owned and residential property) just north of the existing campus.
