PROJECT SCOPE
The River Mill Senior Residences, a WHEDA-funded project, are characterized by their quality and the level of amenities it offers to seniors of different incomes. From scenic views, quality construction, and a range of affordability, River Mill is the first housing development of its kind in the Watertown area.
Scope Included:
- 54 units
- Four stories
- Community room, business center, fitness center, and salon
- 40 underground parking stalls
EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS
The River Mill project included the construction of a section of the Riverwalk that is part of the Watertown Riverwalk Development Plan. The Riverwalk presented some unique design opportunities as the Riverwalk cantilevers out over part of the concrete structure associated with the hydroelectric plant that is located immediately to the north of the building. Thanks to the excellent collaborative effort of the designers/engineers, city officials, and construction team, everything came together perfectly.
