PROJECT SCOPE
The Engineering Innovation Center (EIC) is a 97,000-square-foot, four-story addition to MSOE’s Fred Loock Engineering Center and Allen Bradley Hall of Science. Designed for interdisciplinary learning, the EIC includes modern classrooms, flexible labs, robotics and AI workshops, an outdoor sustainability lab, and public spaces that promote collaboration.
It will house MSOE’s Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering departments, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, and the User Experience program.
The project also includes a 25,000-square-foot renovation of the FLEC loop corridor, coordinated MEP integration, and relocation of the campus loading dock and Facilities Department to the Campus Center. Site improvements feature new landscaping, hardscaping, and redevelopment of the pedestrian mall between State Street and Kilbourn Avenue.
