PROJECT SCOPE

The Milwaukee County - Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory Greenhouses project expands the Conservatory’s capabilities with seven new greenhouses and supportive facilities. Key additions include an 11,000-square-foot “show” greenhouse, designed for vibrant displays and educational exhibits, and a 42,000-square-foot working greenhouse dedicated to plant propagation and research. An 11,000-square-foot storage and preparation building ensures efficient operations. These enhancements strengthen the Conservatory’s role as a premier botanical destination, fostering conservation, education, and community engagement for future generations.
