The Real Estate Services Associate oversees commercial real estate on behalf of VJS Development, our clients and as Agent. Seeking a driven, entrepreneurial with expertise in general real estate, site selection, site acquisition, due diligence, planning and zoning, and geographic information systems is helpful and property management.  The candidate must be able to thrive in a deadline-oriented setting with multiple demands on their time in a team environment. The ideal candidate in this role must be able to work well with minimum supervision.


  • Research of market conditions – demographics, site selection, preparing reports and presenting overview, findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Sourcing properties for clients.
  • Negotiate purchase agreements and contracts with buyers and sellers.
  • Advise clients in the development and execution of their real estate strategies.
  • Research various commercial real estate market areas and local industry trends.
  • Provide owners with regular updates and reports and making relevant recommendations.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, broker opinions of value and market comparable reports.
  • Create documents and related materials including preparing reports, memos, letters and other documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Participate in business/trade events that impact business unit, both during and outside of standard business hours.
  • Support President of VJS Development with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

  • Build, maintain and nurture client relationships and relationships with other brokers
  • Knowledge of relevant real estate laws and regulations
  • Solid financial acumen to assist owners with financial activities
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide both owners and tenants with the service and support they require
  • Good marketing skills to effectively market properties
  • Collaborative, creative, flexible and innovative team player.

  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of real estate search engines including Co-star, Metro Listing Service (MLS), Crexi and more.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, internet search engines.
  • Ability to work independently.

Required Education and Experience:  A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position and/or a combination of work and a portfolio of work showing relevant work experience.  Licensed broker in the State of Wisconsin or salesperson license. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or real estate preferred, but not required.
