Dear VJS Friends and Clients:

As the Coronavirus and its impact continues to evolve and develop, we remain focused on the health and safety of our employees and our communities, as well as our commitment to you, our customers.

Governor Evers “Safer at Home” order deemed the construction industry “essential infrastructure” allowing us to remain fully operational. We are in unprecedented times and finding ways to adapt our businesses to this new normal will require collaboration, innovative thinking, and flexibility.

VJS has the people, resources, and “can-do” attitude to assist you with any construction needs or building modifications you may require during this pandemic and its impact on your business. Please reach out to your VJS representative or feel free to contact us at

Rest assured the health, safety, and well-being of all those we work with and come in contact with is our highest priority. We have always been extremely proud of our commitment to safety and given the current COVID-19 pandemic, our superintendents, foremen, and field crews are adhering to strict safety protocols that have been put in place on all of our jobsites.

Through the use of social distancing, personal protective equipment, and daily health assessments, along with numerous other precautions, we are committed to mitigating the spread of COVID-19 and keeping individuals who enter our sites safe.

We value our relationship with you and look forward to lending our expertise to make this challenging time a little easier. Let us know how we can help – feel free to call or email us.

As always, thank you for being a loyal friend and customer. We will continue to closely monitor the situation, staying focused on keeping our employees and communities healthy and safe, while providing you with the support you need.

To Our Valued Clients, Partners, and Community:

The health, safety and well-being of all those we work with and come in contact with is our highest priority. VJS Construction Services takes the COVID-19 threat very seriously and is implementing measures to prepare for and mitigate the risk of COVID-19 for our employees, clients, partners, and the broader community. At this time VJS remains fully operational.

We have implemented and continue to communicate companywide measures to reduce the risk of spreading infection as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) by reinforcing the following:

  1. Employees who are sick must stay home.
  2. Wash your hands as often as possible.
  3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  4. Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing.
  5. Avoid close, prolonged personal contact.
  6. Practice social distancing with a minimum of six (6) feet distance.
  7. Make a habit of cleaning objects and surfaces frequently.
  8. Follow all travel advisories as recommended by the CDC.
  9. We have established a handshake free and touch free environment.
  10. Limit attendance at meetings to no more than 10.
  11. Conference calls and virtual meetings when possible (limit face to face meetings).

Specific to your project, we are closely monitoring the impact of material procurement and potential delays. At this time, it is too early for us to understand the impact of recent events on procurements and how your project may be impacted. We are beginning to learn more of the potential delays and availability of materials coming from China and other impacted areas. We will update you as we become more informed and have a better understanding of how it will potentially affect your project.

We are also in close contact with your local governing authorities. As you are aware, we have ongoing inspections, permit requests, and other required approvals from your local government. We are
anticipating that approval of these items will continue at the normal pace but we have been informed that this could change at any time due to other governmental priorities. You can anticipate updates once we have them.

This situation is very fluid. We will keep you informed as the situation warrants.

Thank you for your continued support.

We will continue to monitor events as they develop and wish everyone well during these trying times.
