David Jorgensen — Partner, Executive Vice PresidentDavid Jorgensen, VJS Construction Services, Milwaukee, WI
Appointed Executive Vice President of VJS Construction Services, he also serves as President of VJS Development Group. David has been instrumental in developing strategies for greater market share, developing and constructing projects, improving relationships with employees, subcontractors and clients, and has greatly enhanced the company's client services. He is familiar with all aspects of construction including conceptual cost estimating, estimating, scheduling, and project management. David has extensive experience in construction management and has managed over 16 projects in the educational sector; private and public as well as a number of design-build projects in the commercial, industrial, and institutional market sectors. His experience in developing projects includes numerous retail, residential, condominium, and mixed-use projects. He focuses on evaluating property (land and/or buildings) for new development or redevelopment for VJS Development Group, VJS Construction Services real estate development division.

Chris has over 35 years of construction experience with a special emphasis on non-profit and senior care projects. Chris has constructed numerous educational, religious, industrial, office, performing arts and long-term care facilities. He has been involved in all aspects of construction coordination from conceptual cost estimates to contract negotiations to project management. Working on both a Construction Management and Design Build basis, Chris stays deeply involved in design progression and offers valuable insight on construction issues.

Rick has 29 years of construction experience involved in housing, medical, commercial, industrial, educational, religious, mixed-use, senior care, tenant build-outs, aviation and development projects. Rick has gained extensive pre-development, pre-construction, pre-referendum, and phasing experience through various construction projects and mastered the ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously. Rick is able to guide clients through the often arduous approval process for local, state, and federal projects; including WHEDA funded projects. His career has included project supervision and project management with a special emphasis on pre-construction, pre-referendum, and real estate development.

Chad has over 28 years of construction experience and has been involved with projects in nearly every market sector. Chad started his career at VJS over 20 years ago as a Project Engineer. Through his tenure at VJS, Chad has worked as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Vice President, and Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, Chad oversees all operations of the organization. He is continually looking at process improvements in all areas of the company including new technology, standards and procedures, company culture, employee engagement, safety, and the quality of VJS deliverables to our clients. Chad is a seasoned veteran in all areas of construction including pre-referendum, pre-construction, bidding, scoping, scheduling, and managing complex projects. He has extensive experience in the K-12 market and has worked with over 20 school districts encompassing more than 60 projects. Chad also has a broad range of experience working in the medical market, specifically with the behavioral health sector of which he has worked on more than 20 projects. Chad excels at working with clients from project inception to project completion.

Jason Schneider, VJS Construction Services, Milwaukee, WIJason Schneider - Partner, Director of Project Development
Jason has been a part of the VJS Construction Services team for the past 16 years.He has been in the construction industry since he was a child working for his father's residential general contracting business.  During his tenure with VJS, Jason has climbed the ranks rather quickly and is currently overseeing multiple teams on multiple size projects. He has worked exclusively on senior living, education, multi-family, religious projects, and has a wide range of experience, from minor additions and renovations to large scale, multi-million dollar, multi-phased projects and renovations. Jason has served as the Chair for AGC of Greater Milwaukee-CLC, member of the Milwaukee and Waukesha County young professional groups, member of the Industrial Advisory Committee for Milwaukee School of Engineering (his alma mater), and is currently the Chair for CLC National.

Jake graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Construction Engineering. Jake started as an intern for VJS and his first project was Saint John's On The Lake. During his time at Saint John’s On The Lake, Jake assisted the team with project management aspects of the project. His work ethic and enthusiasm has proved him to be a great asset for VJS both now and into the future.
