Building Components: Renovation and remodel of Sabin Hall included replacing existing windows and doors, providing general maintenance to exterior masonry, replacing west flat roof areas, and repairing existing east gabled slate roof. Interior renovation included removing asbestos containing floor tile, pipe insulation, and plaster as required for space remodeling; all restrooms were replaced to comply with accessibility requirements. The elevator was placed in a new location, while the existing elevator shaft was reused as a vertical mechanical duct chase. Lecture hall and general classrooms were provided with new audio-visual equipment. Mechanical systems were replaced and air conditioning was provided. Plumbing, electrical and telecommunications systems were all upgraded.
