Safety

The safety of our employees, clients and the general public is our first and foremost concern. It is an investment, not an expense.

Our safety program begins with an identification of needs and requirements before construction begins, and it continues through the entire project. The VJS Construction Services Team implements thorough procedures to protect employees and the general public on the construction site.

Our full-time Safety Director, Bruce Goranson, visits jobsites regularly and oversees our entire safety program. All project superintendents are trained extensively in safety, and each week they hold safety-related toolbox talks with all job foremen and construction crews. We also provide continual safety standards training to our employees.
