As the "S" in VJS - there are no words to adequately describe Tom's major contributions to the success of Voss Jorgensen Schueler over the past 29 years and his impact within the construction industry. We were all stunned and saddened by Tom's passing and he will be sorely missed.

Thomas S. Schueler Scholarship Fund
The Thomas S. Schueler Scholarship Fund was established in 2007 by VJS Construction Services to honor the legacy of Thomas S. Schueler, one of the company’s founders, who passed away unexpectedly in May of 2007.
Founded in 1947, VJS has grown to become one of the region's leading contractors. Mr. Schueler played an important role in the firm's dynamic growth.
The Thomas S. Schueler Scholarship Fund was created as a way to honor Tom Schueler’s legacy for the employees of VJS Construction Services. He believed each and every employee played an important role in the success of the company. Tom was a very generous and giving man. He treated everyone with the utmost respect and cared about the health and safety of VJS employees and their families.
Tom also held strong beliefs about the importance of education. He knew that not everyone had the same resources to afford a post secondary education and believed everyone should be given a chance.
This scholarship fund honors his legacy for the things he held dear -- education and the employees of VJS.
