Saint John's On The Lake
VJS started working with Saint John's On The Lake in 1993. VJS considers itself to be a project partner in all construction-related activities.
Some of the project challenges/solutions included the following:
■ High Rise/Congested Neighborhood: Effective communication strategies with City officials and neighbors, minimized disruptions to the neighborhood.
■ Urban Setting/Tower Crane: Required careful coordination with the neighbors and city officials to minimize impact on traffic patterns and pedestrian traffic.
■ High Traffic/Vehicle/Pedestrians/Residents: Safety of the public and residents was of paramount importance. A site specific safety plan along with precise
execution enabled us to experience zero injuries for the workers on the site and the public.
■ High-End Customized Condos - VJS worked closely with each individual condo owner customizing their new home. In essence, we had not one client but
89 clients. Coordination and a team dedicated only handling resident selection made the process seamless.
■ Project endured numerous delays due to the recession. VJS continued to refine budget while increasing value and provided assistance in the sales of units.
